The Upper Sac’s headwaters begin at the base of Mt. Shasta. This freestone beauty flows effortlessly through the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Parallel to I-5, most of it’s waters are easily accessible and full of wild and native rainbows. Recently being opened year-round, the Upper Sac can provide great winter fishing, with relatively no crowds.
